Digital Transcription in ‘Practice’: How to Implement the Accuro Express System

Outsourcing transcription can seem like a daunting prospect for those who have never done it before.  With Data Protection and patient confidentiality being a leading concern, also taking into account the everyday pressures of a busy practice, how can Accuro Express be implemented so as not to cause disruption to workflow, but to optimise it?

For those who currently have certain workflow systems in place, namely Lexacom and BigHand, Accuro’s digital transcription service can be implemented without the need to download the Accuro Express software, making the transcription process as simple and user-friendly as possible.

As integrated partners of Lexacom and BigHand, Accuro can be added to your typing pool, appearing as just another Secretary.  The process you would go through to send work to an in-house member of staff would be the same process you would go through to outsource the transcription to Accuro.  The process is the same and there is no disruption involved in implementing the Accuro service.

For those without workflow systems (particularly the systems that Accuro is partnered with), the process is slightly longer but still about as simple as it gets!

After an initial chat with one of our Account Managers, we will provide you with a link to download and install our free software, Accuro Express, complete with login details individual to yourself and your company.  There are options to have multiple users per company, if this is desired.

We will also send our Accuro Express User Guide, a pdf document which can be referred to in the event of any difficulties throughout the instalment process.  Alternatively, our team are on hand between 9:00am-5:30pm to help you through any queries.

Once you have installed Accuro Express, simply right-click on your document template and select ‘Browse files’.  You can then upload your dictation securely – our software uses 256-bit SSL encryption, so your files are protected throughout the transcription process.

While your files are in progress, you are able to communicate any important information about them to us via the ‘Message Accuro’ button.  We understand how fast situations can change for the professionals we work with within the medical and legal industries; therefore, you are also able to mark your files as urgent or high priority at any point throughout the process.

Completed files will be available to download as Word documents in the ‘Archive’ section of your Accuro Express.

The Accuro Express system is straightforward to implement into any busy practice without causing disruption or delay.  For users of Lexacom or BigHand, no installation of Accuro Express is required as we are directly integrated with these workflow providers.  If you do not currently use a workflow system, a brief chat with an Account Manager and a click of a link is enough to install our secure software.  The simplicity of Accuro Express allows its use to seamlessly fall into the day-to-day routine of any medical or legal professional, allowing you complete control over your files whilst outsourcing them to Accuro.
