The security principles on which the Accuro system is built and implemented are based on industry standards required for this type of IT system currently in use within the UK. Particular attention has been paid to the development of the system with the target audience in mind. All outgoing voice files and incoming text files are encrypted using the industry standard 128 Bit SSL encryption. The data uploaded and downloaded to and from the server is sent via a 128bit SSL encrypted transmission. All servers are dedicated and full virus protection is in place and acts at the point of the firewall and is run on the data server within a scheduled programme. The current system allows data to be transmitted without the need for the user to make any changes to their existing security settings at a local level.
Accuro currently uses the ISO 17799 as a code of practice for information security management within the company.
Data security is integral to our successful business operations and as such every possible technical measure is taken to ensure that the system is fully protected both technically and physically.
The system has been designed with the best practice principles incorporated from the initial design stage. Accuro is registered with the DPA. All our transcribers have signed a data confidentiality agreement as per the UK Data Protection Act. There are a strict set of compliance rules that all users adhere to and regular system audits are carried out to ensure compliance.
