Accuro has many years experience of handling confidential medical information. Accuro is also fully compliant with the Data Protection Act and your transcriptions will never leave the UK.
NHS IT Director General Richard Granger declared that medical data should not go outside of the EU until the regulatory framework has been improved.
"The extent to which you can move data around will constrain the outsourcing/ off shoring. At the NHS we have not crossed the line in terms of data being processed offshore; data will not go outside the European Union until there is a regulatory framework in place."
All Accuro’s transcribers have to go through an application process to join Accuro and before starting work they must sign a non disclosure agreement. Even more importantly, all transcribers are medical secretaries who have experience within the NHS of handling sensitive and confidential medical data.
Having developed an excellent relationship with Accuro, I approached them to help resolve a workload problem in a specialty secretarial office. I found the quality of the work we received back to be of an excellent standard and was returned within a tight timescale. I look forward to working with Accuro again!
